Terms and conditions
These terms are the agreement between you and [NAME OR COMPANY] (“we”) for using the app. By creating your account you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
What the app is
An app for doing rounds with your friends: every so often a movie, game, album, book or place comes up at random, everyone does it their own way and posts a review. Until you post yours, you can’t see the others’. There are also global rounds, open to everyone.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- The information you give us must be yours and true. Your account is personal: don’t share it.
- Keep access to your account safe. If you think someone got in, sign out of all sessions from settings and write to us.
- You can delete your account at any time from settings.
What you post
- What you post (reviews, photos, messages, replies) is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it inside the app to the people you chose (your group, your friends or everyone), only so the app works. The permission ends when you delete it or your account.
- You are responsible for what you post. You must have the right to post the photos you upload and you may not show other people without their permission.
- Mark spoilers as spoilers. Outside a review marked that way (in the chat, in a reply, on your profile), don’t give away the ending or the surprises of a work.
What isn’t allowed
- Harassing, threatening, discriminating against anyone or inciting hatred or violence.
- Posting sexual, violent or illegal content, or content showing minors inappropriately.
- Impersonating someone else.
- Spamming or using the app for commercial purposes without permission.
- Trying to get into other people’s accounts, getting around limits or security measures, or using the app with automated programs.
- Spoilers: giving away the ending or the surprises of a work outside a review marked as a spoiler.
- Any other inappropriate behavior towards other people on the app.
You can report or block any person and report any content from the app, spoilers included. We review it and, if it breaks these terms, we may hide it and suspend the account that posted it, for a while or for good, or delete it.
Groups and meetups
- Group admins decide who joins and can remove someone. Whoever leaves a group stops seeing that group’s content.
- Group admins can set rules. To join a group you have to accept them. If you don’t follow them, you can be removed from the group; and if you also break these terms, we may suspend your account.
- Meetups are arranged by people among themselves. We don’t organize or supervise them: take care and meet in safe places.
- Places that come up in rounds come from public sources. Check opening hours and access before you go.
Points
Points only work inside the app (for example, to swap a round in your group). They have no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred.
Third-party data
Information about movies, games, albums, books and places comes from TMDB, IGDB, CheapShark, MusicBrainz, Open Library and Overture Maps, credited in “About”. We aren’t responsible for errors in that data, and those services don’t endorse this app.
The app
- For now the app is free and non-commercial.
- We offer it “as is”: we do our best for it to work well, but it may have bugs or be down for a while.
- We may change or stop offering features. If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll let you know in the app before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. If there is any dispute, first write to [EMAIL] so we can try to solve it. If it isn’t solved, the courts of [JURISDICTION] will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights under consumer protection law.
