Delete your account

You can delete your account whenever you want, for free and without giving reasons.

From the app

It’s the fastest way and it’s immediate:

• Open the app and go to your Profile.
• Tap the gear to go to Settings.
• At the bottom, tap “Delete my account” and confirm.

Before that, if you want, you can download a copy of everything with “Download my data”, in the same place.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, write to [EMAIL] with the subject “Delete my account”, from your account’s email, and tell us your username. If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from that account’s email. We check that the account is yours and delete it within 5 business days; we’ll let you know when it’s done.

What is deleted

Everything of yours, right away:

• Your account: name, username, email, profile and cover photos.
• Your reviews with their photos, your messages and replies, your likes and your meetups.
• Your list, what you follow, your friends, your blocks and your place in groups.
• Your notifications, the phones registered for push notifications and your sessions.
• What you wrote to the team from Help.

Photos are removed from storage within minutes. If you signed in with Apple, we revoke the access you gave the app.

What remains

• The groups you were in carry on for everyone else (if you were the only admin, the role passes to another member).
• The reports you made, without your name, so moderation stays on record.
• The log of what the moderation team did, which keeps only an identifier (not your data) and cannot be edited.

Deleting your account can’t be undone. More details in the privacy policy.
